Fun fact about shampoos

Shampoos actually came from India. People in India were known to use the pulp of a fruit called soapberries combined with some herbs and hibiscus flowers as early as the 1500s. That's when the British colonial traders came to know about it and introduced the idea of shampooing your hair to Europe.

We called it champoo then.

my shampoo comes from Sweden, but it's been discontinued and i'm rather upset about it.

thanks, India, for shampoo and so many other good things 💜

@SW-User why discontinued? The sheer number of brands are just unbelievable.

@SW-User i believe they lost ground during the pandemic, and it's expensive due to the ingredients. it's designed for people who have sensitivities to a lot of common ingredients and perfumes, so it just didn't have enough support, i think. i may have found a good replacement, though, i hope. thank goodness for so many choices, since i need choices right now.
