SW users petrol price survey

Hi guys I just saw a poster on TikTok comment that it cost him $95 to fill his tank. He said that was expensive and made it too expensive to drive his car.
I decided to give that some perspective as to what does “expensive” look like to different people?

If I filled my car up today on 95 petrol costing $3.46 a litre would cost me $175 to fill my 13 gallon tank (50 litre tank)
When I filled on 13th March I paid $2.91 a litre. There’s 3.75 liters to a gallon.
The price amounts I’m quoting are in New Zealand $
1NZD = US59cents

How much are SW users paying to fill their tanks? And what US states are users in?

I don't fill up often because I don't drive much, but for an example of rapid increase, for basic unleaded petrol (gas) in Feb I paid £1.31/litre, in March £1.36 and this week £1.61.

£1.00 GPB = AUD 1.88 NZD 2.29 USD 1.35 CAD 1.85 EUR 1.14 (As of writing this)

what was illegal about it?

@FreddieUK Despite that price hike, does the greater fuel economy still make Diesel cheaper overall than petrol, for equivalent cars?
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@ArishMell There are other considerations when comparing the two other than price. Diesel is unsuitable for cars which make short local journeys, but at one time was much better for long-distance. However, I believe the price differential now is so great that probably that advantage has disappeared. My hybrid gets me between 65 and 70 miles to the gallon, so I don't think there would be any advantage in me changing. It's also the reason I don't fill up very often. Incidentally, I've just driven past the same Tesco petrol station I usually fill up at and the petrol has come down one whole penny per litre.

It’s about $5.89-6.00+ and I have a 18.5 gallon tank (approximately 70 liters) so it usually costs me around $108.965-111+ to fill it up with 87 octane (though I prefer 92)
** Sure would be cheaper if someone could stop starting wars!!!

@RunTheJulz A 70 litre tank of diesel in NZ is around $270 to fill (Ford Ranger)
