@Puppycat23 Because meeting a checklist of diversity just for the sake of it leads to boring characters and stories.

@SW-User Writers being lazy/basic and not organically writing stories *that aren't* in some weird dystopian world where anyone that isn't white, straight and Christian doesn't exist is the actual problem.

@SW-User then that’s more to do with lazy writing than it is the character being non-white or non-heterosexual.

@Puppycat23 Exactly. Writers need to write interesting characters and not tokenized versions of everything.
