A star trek fan or a lord of the rings fan?

LOTR is a much deeper culture..But its the fictional "Past" so we know where its supposed to end up. Star trek is a shallower Future. But expanding and evolving in all directions.. I prefer LOTR. But Star Trek has more potential..😷

@1olderguy20 Quite so. The thing that is overlooked in Star Trek is that all those people are the best of the best examples. Just as todays astronauts are. To bring in an old idea of the pioneers of the old west. "The timid stayed at home. The weak died along the way" So everyone we see in Star trek is "the best".😷
