I Have A Question For You

[c=#4C0073]How can people see Donald Trump as the savior of anything?

I just don't get it. Yeah, I understand people are sick of the bureaucracy. I'm sick and tired of Washington using their positions to further themselves as well, but this is not the guy to gamble on. He has shown himself to be narcissistic and completely psychopathic in some cases. He is the problem. He is big corporation, downsizing, outsourcing, and fiscal manipulation. It is truly terrifying to think he actually has a chance at the position. Yeah, Hillary is not an ideal choice for captain, but at least we know she isn't going to sink the ship. No one has any real idea of what Trump is going to do other than run his big mouth and get us into more trouble. That is a guarantee.[/c]
I am NOT condoning anyone or anything!
I am NOT agreeing with or disagreeing with...

We VOTE!

If the people vote Trump in...
He will be president.
If you truly believe you will have to leave the planet...

What are you doing to stop that from happening?
Because arguing on SW probably will NOT change one mind!

[c=#4C0073]SKYMIKE You can say what you want about Obama, but you can not call him a pathological liar. He has tried to do exactly what he said he would and on many accounts he has. Obama is not arrogant he is secure in himself and confident. Some see arrogance depending on where it is you come from and where it is you're standing. I don't like or agree with everything he has done, but anyone looking can see that he has truly tried.....Trump is without a doubt arrogant. Trump is crass and does not think before he opens his mouth. I don't mind the man speaking his mind, but he should use his mind to think about what he is saying. The way he speaks shows that he does not care about anyone but himself. That is a truly scary thought for a man who is applying for the position of the one person who takes care of us all. [/c]

When people are afraid they do all kinds of things that they would not usually do.
Like vote for a madman.
Open up your ears and hear what this man is saying. Not talking about the media spin, but what comes out of his own mouth.
He is scary.

[c=#4C0073]ICANANDIWILL, I am working hard everyday. I am a Mental Health Specialist in the field of behavioral Health. I work in the community. I'm out everyday traveling to homes counseling patients, children. I mostly work with the indigent, foreign citizens, and single parent households. I am talking to all the patients I have that are of voting age. I am talking with their parents. I am signing people up to vote. When the time comes, I will be going door to door to register voters and help Hillary. Like I said I don't believe she is the greatest choice, but in a broken system, running against a madman, she is the only choice. People should be very afraid of this guy.[/c]

Wow Mike, lol, how did you come about this information? Do you know someone on the staff? How do you know they weren't just telling you a half truth under Presidential orders?
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]SKYMIKE you're right all politicians keep things secret. There are things they have to keep secret for the safety of the nation. I don't have a problem with partial disclosure. As an ex-military wife I understand that. I have a problem with a person running for office and not being able to control their tongue. I have a problem with a candidate for presidential election in 2016 being outwardly racist. I have a problem with a possible president not being firm in his beliefs and flip flopping ideals on national television. I have a problem with a grown man who considers himself capable of managing the entire country, behaving like a petulant child. I have a problem with a man who is supposed to be able to fix our issues not being able to explain how he will do it. Not to mention his track record and obvious lack of sanity. I'm not basing my opinion on just what the news is showing. Go back into his business dealings and personal relationships. This is beyond partial disclosure. Everything about his behavior and lack of definitive ideals is terrifying. I am not hating on him. I am scared, truly scared for my safety and the safety of my children. [/c]
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
I don't think most think the don is going to be a savior, I think it breaks down into three categories or a combination there of. People who don't want Clinton just like they did not want another Bush, People who are sick of politicians and want a non politician, people who are sick and tried of being told they have to be so politically correct and that is trump support in a nutshell in my layman opinion.
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]SKYMIKE As I've said people will have differing views on Obama's demeanor depending on where it is you come from and where it is you're standing. I am African American. The way men are raised in the African American community is responsible for the way Obama carries himself. To some it may come off as arrogant, but its not. As I stated before I do not agree with everything Obama has done. I'm not one of those YAAAY Obama people. I can truly look at his actions and relate them to the things he has said prior to being elected and a lot of them match up. I can look at the things others in office have said and things he has said and see that he has tried and been thwarted on multiple occasions. I can see where he has changed views on somethings. I DO NOT agree with everything he has done, but it would be completely illogical of me to ignore the fact the HE HAS TRIED...It sounds to me like you are the one who is biased. [/c]
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]SUNSHINE That is dangerous thinking. We do not need arrogant and narcissistic. Have you ever had to deal with a textbook narcissist? GOD that is the last thing we need. Trump truly terrifies me. He has weaved this spell on people and I see danger. I have two children and I would like for them to grow and be healthy. I'm really looking for them to build a viable space ship because if Trump gains office there is no place for someone like me and my children in this country. I really don't think anywhere else would be safe either. Yes, I was born and raised here. My mother was born and raised here. My grandmother and so forth. I am a true citizen. I love my country it has its issue but I truly believe that as a people we can work together and fix this. I'm one of those people who always has hope, but I have no hope with Trump in office. NONE [/c]
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]ICANANDIWILL I am serious. I have to find somewhere to go. Trump in office would be like slavery all over for me. I won't put my children through that. I am a mother first and as much as I believe in hard work and community as the solution to most things. I do not believe a lot can help Trump in office. I don't just have one field. I am also certified paralegal, I'm just working in the mental health field right now as I work towards my JD. Both social work and law are my passions. I want to help my community, educate my people, and start moving us in a more positive direction. Knowing what he can do in office with the help of those that follow him is like playing a horror movie daily. I think the man is giving me anxiety. I have a panic attack every time I see him on television. [/c]
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]StrangeWorld That man scares me so bad I completely missed the sarcasm. He really makes my pressure rise and gives me a headache behind my left eye. :D Nice one. [/c]

Ugh, he's told us what he's going to do at least a million times over. Make America great again. Just believe him already.
SW-User
I'm just giving you a hard time Mike...but it is a bit extreme for you to make it sound like this is exclusive to this administration. Can you name a government at any point in history that didn't hide information from its people? Do you know a candidate that is going to give the American public full transparency when he is in office? If you're going to say Trump go ahead and accept my maniacal laughter now in case I can't respond until later.
SW-User
Shhhh Lovely..details details details. They just water everything down.
LJ123 · 46-50, F
@Strange - I just hearted some of your nonsense. Oops.
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]ICANANDIWILL That's what I'm really scared of. He knows how to bring the money. He's not new to this and He isn't afraid to throw that money around. He has proven that he can pull the wool over the majority of the public. He can pretty much guarantee that he can distract the public from whatever dirt he's done with this comedy act he likes to put on. [/c]
SW-User
And yes ct, i'm letting the sarcasm fly on this one ;)
Queen, I appreciate the work you do. I appreciate hearing about someone that works for what they believe.

I am concerned that these two are the best that our system can produce. I believe it is evidence that the system is broken.
Always work for whatyou believe.

...but, leaving the planet...lol
He doesn't have that much power...Obama would have changed the country!
Our system is broken, but not crumbling.
He'll never have that many supporters in the House and Senate.
I understand your concern.

I wish I knew his motivation???
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]SUNSHINE, I hope you're wrong. I truly, honestly, from the bottom of my heart hope that people will see him for what he truly is. A selfish, psychotic, megalomaniac that will threaten our way of life and our national security. [/c]
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]Doomsday I don't like Hillary either. I'm a minority, my children are minorities. Trump is far more terrifying to me than anything Hillary has ever done. She's a dud, but she's not dangerous.[/c]
UserNameSW · 46-50, M
It takes more that grand statements and insults to run a nation.

So far this has been is flamboyant silly stage.
Let's see what he is really about. I hope there is more to him than his silly rants.

I'm also worried about him as that may be all there is.

"I love the highly educated I love the poorly educated ... is great for the late night comics. What is his real opinion on education?
Actual policy?
He puts on a great show ... can he transfer it to action?

Build a wall? Is he talking about economic embargo, updated trade deal, restricted access for people? Good? Capital? Improved access?

We're in one of those dramatic points in history. They should lower cigarette prices so nervous chain smokers can worry more comfortably;)
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
Here's the thing: Trump has the capability to surprise any of us. He could either be better or worse than any of us expect. Hillary doesn't have that going for her. We know that she's a student of Saul Alinsky (read Rules for Radicals and you'll understand this one), she's spent the past 40 years silencing women who were assaulted by her husband, she plays fast and loose with national security, she has never created anything, and has never done anything to improve the lives of average Americans.

LOL Sunshine...don't worry. 2020 will make all this just a bad memory when you can stand in that ballot box and cast your vote for Kanye.
They all play the game Queen. But it's all self interest. They will abandon him...right now he is the money maker.
SW-User
@StrangeWorld ... that actually made me laugh. Something I didn't think would be possible today!
UserNameSW · 46-50, M
I'm not American. Not voting for any of them.

Hilary is judged based on real policy good and bad. Trump hasnt made any real policy statements yet. Hard to judge him on that.

If I were able to vote I'd want to see real policy lined up side by side and them I could make an informed decision. So far you have the option of some good and some bad policy compared to a showman.

Not saying trump has bad or good policy ... he has none.

It's okay Lisette....if you click the heart a second time it will take it away ;)

Ugh Sunshine...I saw that movie The Marine. Some disasters just can't be forgotten.

@LBQ ... I think (hope!) StrangeWorld was being facetious!
icyreb · M
strangeworld..not giving me a hard time.. when people deny the truth, it amuses me.. comments were for all those people that hate on trump for all these reasons that is a trait in many politicians...especially Obama.. So to hate one for it, and not another, tells me people are using emotions rather than intellect.
Sunshine · 26-30, F
Strangeworld, President Cena... I like that :)
icyreb · M
strangeworld...just look at the healthcare.. he knew he wasn't giving the complete facts to people..it was caught on tape from his staff that it would have never passed if the truth was told. this is documented facts.. go google it if you aren't aware of it.
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]I dunno about living with you considering the wife and kids and all LOL. I've actually lived in Spain, Madrid to be exact. I dunno. I may go back there. I can teach English to Spanish speaking children. its a definite possibility. [/c]
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]ICANANDIWILL I'm really not sure about that. He doesn't have that power right now, but I believe he can acquire it. The government is turning to his side daily. They are reluctant, but they are coming around. [/c]
Sunshine · 26-30, F
I'm not a fan of Trump. But he is an arrogant narcissist and that might just be what this country needs. He will want to be labeled as the Greatest President that ever lived and he will want to leave a legacy for all mankind. So...
icyreb · M
lovely blckqueen. he is a pathological liar.. he lies about everything.it is fact. he orders his staff to tell the public half truths. that they are too stupid, and will believe what they tell them..
icyreb · M
you are believing the rhetoric of the man....is he arrogant. hell yeah.. but so is Obama.. I prefer someone that speaks his mind rather than someone who is a pathological liar.
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]@Rowena I agree I don't like Hillary either, but better the devil you know. We can anticipate her moves, we know what she's going to do. We know its not going to sink the nation. [/c]
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
So go with the one who's outwardly intent on destroying everything your husband fought for instead of the one who's at least giving the appearance of caring. Makes sense to me...
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]Strange world he's going to have to be a little more in-depth than make America great again. From where i'm standing America was never great. We were just good at hiding our shit.[/c]
icyreb · M
strange world it amazes me that people heart your nonsense. you just are closing your eyes to what you don't want to be true...it is true, whether you are those fools accept it or not..
Sunshine · 26-30, F
QUEEN 💛 Only time will tell. Seems like he will be the likely winner though. I'm sorry to hear you want to leave. Those who are left behind will be triumphant or at least do what little we can. Cheers :)

lovely blckqueen,, funny how you see trump as arrogant, and Obama as confident.. your perception seems to be biased..
