'Amusica' is the inability to perceive or reproduce music (a-without---- musica-music).
There was a girl I was in band with (why why why…) who had 'amusica'. She couldn't stay on beat, or even play a simple scale...and singing...(we sometimes had to sing our scales, our director said it made our intonation better.), but she was worse than mere tone-deafness, cause interestingly enough there was ANOTHER girl who was tone deaf, but she marched great, although her playing sucked, poor gal… but she could stay on beat if not on tone, and that gal could dance...
Someone with amusica says all music sounds the same, and to them, it does. Bach and Skillet sound the same to them.
