I Have A Random Question

My real name is both male and female, only the spelling is different.
Wondering how many other unisex names (with different spelling) you guys can come up with?
Just curious.

Ashley (works with both genders), Ashleigh (female)
Lesley (male) and Leslie (female)
You know, there is actually is a Lesley University in Cambridge, Ma?
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
My aunts name is Leslie. And her father, my grandad, middle name was Lesley. So that's how I know about those names. :)

With the Ashley bit, its a predictable ex-girlfriend story. 😂
@DaSlayer: Kinda like Jean and Gene, huh?
Whenever I hear the name Ashley I automatically think of Gone With The Wind. Back in the '30's/early '40's, Ashley was oh so ahead of its time.
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Sorry love, I didn't watch that movie. :)

But yeah you're right about the Jean/Gene bit. :)
@DaSlayer: "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Is that a quote from the movie?
@DaSlayer: Yes. He (Ashley), spoke that very famous line to spoiled Scarlet O'Hara.
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Oh man. I'm so sorry I missed it up for you for not knowing about that. I hate it when that happens. I quote someone and later have to explain it. 😂

However , I do remember reading the background story you just mentioned.
@DaSlayer: What about another famous movie line: You talking to me? Well, are you? I said, ARE You TALKING to me?
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Yeah. This one seems familiar too. Why can I hear it in Al Pacino's voice ?

Oh this is a frustrating game. But I love it. 😁
@DaSlayer: Nope, not Al Pacino, but close.
Robert De Niro as Travis in the movie "Taxi Driver.
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Lmao !! So I was either miles off or pretty close. Depending on the point of view. 😁
@DaSlayer: They are actually pretty interchangeable. Ya know the Italian thing, as well as the age thing. But. . . can't think of any famous lines spoken by Pacino???
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Seriously? He has one that's down in the record books.

Say hhellllo to ma llilll friend !
@DaSlayer: Scarface??? Or The Godfather???
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Scarface. :)
His Spanish accent teacher/coach should have been shot with his machine gun.
He was just TERRIBLE/AWFUL. Did you pick up on that dialect also. Made me glad I wasn't Hispanic.
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Now that you mention it, I think you're right. I never thought about it before. But his accent was a bit all over the place in the movie.
Okay, just one more? Who said this famous line: Well do you feel lucky now punk?
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Lmao !! This was in Speed !! I'm almost certain of it. I can hear the dialogue clearly in my head. But I'm not 100% sure, and it's driving me crazy. 😁
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
How about this, another one from more recently...

*long speech about good and bad, cops and bad guys*

"..... I ask you this, when you're facing a loaded gun, what's the fuckin difference?"
@DaSlayer: First, no it wasn't Speed. Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry.
Guessing, but maybe the Departed?
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
Howly hell !! You're really good at this. I thought i was. But figured it being a typed convo would make it hard to see how good one was or not. Yet you kicked ass :O

I'm a little scared of you right now. The Departed is correct. 😂
WizzBitt · 41-45, M
And yes. The gritted teeth and the stiff upper lip. I didn't see Dirty Harry, but I saw Jim Carrey do that line in Bruce Almighty. And now I remember it
"Here's Johnny"
