To sin or not to sin.. That is the question!

To err is human and to forgive is divine
Not to commit a sin is angelic so where do we humans stand?
It is bad to commit a sin but we all do, small n big however is commiting a sinful act in private better than doing it openly?

Humans were given free will, while angels were not. That’s why choosing obedience despite temptation carries great value. When a person overcomes their desires for the Divine’s sake, they can attain a rank even higher than the angels.

@Bleak It deserved to be declared as the best comment.

God’s prophet Moses knew the answer to this question

Hebrews 11:24
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;”

Hebrews 11:25
“Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;”

He knew sin was only pleasure for a season but chose this:

Hebrews 11:26
“Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.”

*Sin is still sin either overtly or covertly!

@Unefilletrescurieuse Is there only “SIN” or there are different categories of sin?
@xbandoleerx That’s a great question. Human kind were all born with inbred sin, called the Adamic nature. That’s why we need a savior. Sin is sin to God and he made sure sins were listed in the Bible. However some sins have much greater consequences than others. The Bible says there is a sin unto death. I’ll find scriptures to back up the things I’ve stated here but you’ll probably have to wait til Monday or possibly Sunday night. USA time.

A sin is still a sin, but repentance and sincere change are what truly matter We're all human What matters most is recognizing our mistakes, learning from them, and striving to become better
