@sstronaut How much do you make a year? Ballpark it. I make 98k for example.
@CountScrofula Probably going to delete or edit this later

It's later

@sstronaut Hell yeah, and no worries delete all you want I appreciate just talking pay. I've always felt it never helps to keep it too secret.
@CountScrofula I totally agree, I've always had/have money questions and it always sucks as no body wants to be blunt about answers.

I think I was like 5 years old or something, and my extremely over serious parents were talking to me about how I need to develop interest and figure out what's what interests me and what I want to do in life, again, I was 5!

So I asked a lot of questions including what are the important aspects in a job and most of the answers, as a 5 year old, I couldn't relate to... but how much it pays, I could relate to.

Also, we were going to a work social gathering of military people... and they're encouraging me to learn about different jobs...

So at this dinner get together thing... I find out one of them does something with the Air, I don't remember if Air Force, or flying vehicle...

But I bluntly asked (as a 5 year old who's being prodded to ask questions), and so how much does that make?

I SO got yelled at and I totally did NOT understand what I did wrong 😂...

No one told me their were social rules 😂
@CountScrofula But yes I totally agree, people don't talk about money enough and when they do, they don't talk about it in reality sense enough.

My strength was/is math/logic and in middle school they tried to teach us about banking and getting into banking, and so I took an interest...

But I quickly realized they're talking about saving money in the bank and compounding it monthly or yearly at 5% to 8% interest... and that is NOT realistic at all... and what they were teaching was a scam....

Yes saving your money is extremely smart, but that interest rate with no risk in the bank is just a lie.

@sstronaut Exactly! And if we all keep our money information secret it just lets those in charge play us against each other.
