@itsok What's your medical situation? I've been too polite to ask and my mind is a sieve sometimes but I'm sure you've posted about something fairly serious before.

@CountScrofula uhhhm. Was it recently or a while back? I guess both are based on a bad relationship with food. Earlier in the year I had to have my gallbladder removed, after repeatedly fasting for several days at a time for 3 months after pippy died. (I had no idea that could happen)
The more recent was my bloodwork showing I was malnourished a few months ago because I ate cucumber, squash, and tomatoes for 2 months straight and not much else 😬
Other than that, not much?
The last couple months my doctors were trying to figure out what they think is eczema now.
I have asthma that can get bad when I’m sick. I’m anemic, but I really don’t know what it feels like to not be, so it doesn’t seem bad. I’m allergic to a few things.
Let me see if I can think of anything else that might be interesting.
Oh, I have vitiligo and get migraines. I’m on a preventative for the migraines but I’m not great at staying on it.
I get no pain relief from hydrocodone and my body metabolizes Effexor too quickly, so it causes some bad behavioral changes.
I’m on Prazosin for nightmares.
I have low quality ears.
I hope that was enough 😅

@itsok You're on medication for NIGHTMARES???
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@itsok Sorry you had so much to say and the ED you're dealing with sounds like hell as well as so much else but my god woman

@CountScrofula I am.
I started Prazosin this year, and it definitely works. I think it might be specifically for ptsd nightmares?
I actually have the same dreams, but I feel no response to them.
The first night I took it, I woke up calm. I genuinely don’t think I had ever woken up completely calm before. It was a weird thing to get used to

@itsok God my sound sleep privilege never resonated so much. Also wild to have recurring trauma dreams but they don't emotionally rock you.

@CountScrofula boy we didn’t even get into the bulk of the mental health stuff 😮‍💨😂
I think it seems like a lot when it’s just written out like that, but it feels different in the moment, especially if it’s something you’ve lived with for a long time
