What’s the actual appeal to home ownership? I’m on a mission to go my whole life without mowing a lawn.

mainly it is about buying and paying for something that appreciates with time, and is an asset for you. .When you rent, it all just goes to the landlord and you have no asset. Even if you buy a condo or apartment, you have an asset an no yard work at all.
