Americans, have you obtained your “real license or real ID” ?

@Gibbon I did the same as soon as real ID came out!! And it was “additional paperwork”.

@NoGamesTolerated What was funny was my license already had the Star on it but was never official. So I provided the proof documents and had no new license issued. Vickie laughed at me because she didn't have to do anything because hers was issued as an official ID when she got her Maryland license.

@NoGamesTolerated When I got the letter in the mail I pulled out both of our licenses to compare and they were identical Star and all. I said to Vickie mine was renewed after yours what makes you so special. That's when she laughed. She laughed again the next day when we went in with the documents. I asked about the Star and the lady said they had added it to some renewals without verification.
