Question to all women

Would you find this as a nice gesture or a bit strange?

Now I can't remember how things were worded on if they mention that they can wash my clothes or that I can wash my clothes in their laundry area. Either way I refuse the offer so quick because by saying No thank you. The last time my relative and I visited, I remember this other woman washed my relatives belongings without my relatives permission.....but yea the young lady already cooks and prepare our meals. She even brings the food and drinks to us. With laundry, I literally think she wanted to wash my stuff lol.

So my question is would you find this a bit strange if she actually wanted to wash my belongings or nice?

While it's a nice gesture, I really would not want anyone washing my clothes. That's just personal.

Seems like a case of static cling.

Everything I just read is strange

I think it depends on cultural differences. Some cultures are more open to such gestures and it would mean nothing out of ordinary to them as such.
Personally I would feel awkward because I am used to paying for services but in context of culture I may be more accepting.
