I have a question for all the builders here.

My house is old, my floors aren't all level. But if I hire you to replace a floor in one room, should it be level when it's finished? Or am I paying just to rip up the subfloor and lay a new subfloor thats not level like it was?

I am not a builder, but I have seen levelling compound used on some uneven floors. Ask your contractor about it.
