Question for those who use the metric system

When measuring liquids for say a recipe, what's the equivalent for our ounce? Do you use Liter and milliliters and that's it?

I use both, as well as tsp, cup etc.

It depends what I'm measuring . If it's small or precision amounts I use metric, if it's larger I use imperial or cooking amounts.

Same as size measurements. Metric is good for fine, small work , while larger stuff like building stuff imperial is better.

Although I can visualize the distance of a kilometer better than a mile ....but that might be just familiarity .

@OogieBoogie That's interesting - I wasn't aware others used both systems. Others meaning those on the metric system.

I do the same thing. Metric when I'm baking, but mostly imperial otherwise.
@Ontheroad I'm not opposed to either system.
And I don't know why people kick up a fuss about it .
Each has it's benefits. Metric is easier to calculate on the fly, but imperial has more division options.

Some things are just easier to visualize.
Like, 2cm- easy, 7/8" is hard ....and it really screws me over when they give inch measurements with percentages like .87 of an inch - that does my head in!
It's like, ffs , stick to one system for God's sake 😂

...and height ...I mean, who can visualize 170cm?
5'7" is way easier .
