I have a serious question.

@SW-User Geez! A guy can't even trust a bear anymore.

@Ontheroad I'm not kidding you when I say this did happen to someone in my town. Someone left their kitchen window open to air the place out after cooking dinner, and a small hungry bear cub somehow managed to crawl in. The family had to call town animal control, and so the story hit the newspaper.

@SW-User Ha! I'm imagining walking into my kitchen and finding a bear rummaging around. I'd probably still be running.

@Ontheroad I keep trash outside the back door, and although I have a bungee cord lock on it, I'm concerned that one day I'll find a bear messing with it -- especially after surprising a 500 lb one taking a walk thru my yard one a.m.

@SW-User That's the thing with living where there are animals that wander about - you learn to be careful.
