I ask people questions, sometimes over coffee. Most folks love talking about themselves. Plus, you learn a little about them, too.

Choose activities that don't involve? Volunteer? There are a bunch of activities without alcohol, probably more than with, but one thing I've noticed about people who don't drink at all, most of their activities are about activity (hiking, cycling, swimming, running, fitness) and often give little time to just socialization, so join those things?

I do three out of those, I also drink, and drink most often to the point socializing after events like that ... are, ahem, may we have another? I have learned, though, they drink after things like that.

If you once drank too much, trying to steer clear, it's almost impossible. If you never drank, well you can't change other people, and need to find those who you want to associate with that give you something. And the above ideas are ones, but you need to know when to bow out.

Just be friendly to the people that are friendly to you... Be the kind to the people that are kind to you ..... It's as simple as that......🤗

Join a league, bowling, softball, golf, doesn't matter which one.

Not easy.. you need to join like a shared interest thing.. hobbies and all that. It takes forever but it will happen. Also working woth some people can lead to it.

Church and I love fishing so I go to Walmart in the fishing section and talk fishing with guys and made one of my best friends for over 10 years a good fishing buddy

We go to a resort a couple times a month and that’s where we have made most of our friends
