I know what i could do with 65000 today. I wouldn't gamble on taking less than guaranteed take home money.

Given this scant outline, the $65k today.
This money is certain, while there is no information about probabilities of getting anything from $0 to $1,000,000.
This sounds like a game show where contestants are offered this choice, "know" that *they* WILL "win the million"...then walk away with **nothing**.

65,000… because it’s guaranteed and I don’t have good luck haha.

@WaryWitchWandering I hope you could do exactly as you said, if offered this choice on an actual game show.

@SomeMichGuy oh I could… because the idea of losing that much money for the slight chance of more money— it’s a no-brainer for me. That’s just how I am. The 65,000 could be added to savings, or used for things I otherwise wouldn’t spend on for myself and family

Need a few more details on what's being invested in and how it's being paid. I like a sure thing, if I have something better I can line up with 65000 probably, if no losses are involved in waiting for a million I'd need more about the company
SomeMichGuy · M
@Justafantasy It's anywhere from $0 to "possibly" $1,000,000.

$65,000 right now. I sure could put that money to good use right now, and I know I'll have it
Fluffybull · F
I'd wait it out. $65,000 isn't a life-changing amount of money. $1,000,000 could be.

The former. I’ve done all my risk taking
Ferric67 · M
@SW-User that seems to be the consensus

@Ferric67 gambling isn’t my thing either..but I do admire those that have that kind of bravado

Is this a marshmallow test?
