Serious question (some of y'all may block me and that's cool):

Why do you not believe in Christ? What keeps you from believing that God may actually exist?

There’s literally no factual evidence to prove his existence so…. Simple as that.

@AnonymousJSS that's just how you feel lol, have you looked at all evidence that has been collected for the past thousands of years? Cuz a person couldnt even manage that in ten life times
@MartinTheFirst what evidence would that be? All I've come across was "The bible says..." and "Nature exists, therefore it must have been created with a purpose and by a sentient being". What did I miss?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@NerdyPotato Well if you slate the "Bible" you're effectively slating thousands of years of historic documents and in the millions of people's research to verify the scriptures. I think you missed pretty much all of it?
@MartinTheFirst the Bible had been proven to be inaccurate and contradicting on many accounts, so yes, I can't take that without a grain of salt.

@NerdyPotato It's a simple thing to say but did you actually do the research or did you just read that it has been proven to be inaccurate and contradicting? I've debated with a great number of people and 100% of the time so far people who made the claim you just made have a clear confirmation bias due to that they simply do not want to believe in the Bible, and therefore accept any google results as "evidence". It's fine to say that you do not know, but if you do not know and claim you do, it becomes a personal problem.
@MartinTheFirst I have looked up the passages that were claimed to be contradictory in the bible itself and they were all really in there.

@NerdyPotato just re-read what you said lol, that's like the minimum amount of effort a human being can possibly exert on anything
@MartinTheFirst just did. I have checked the bible and there are indeed contradictory passages in there. That makes it unreliable as a source of evidence because you have to cherry pick the parts that support your claims and ignore others for it to work.

@MartinTheFirst That’s not how I “feel”, that’s just how it is lmao.
