Adjective and Noun. See question below.

Hello earthlings! Is this sentence an example of an adjective describing a noun?

1.The students find raking the yard to be hard (adjective) work
(noun).

Yes hard describes the work. One could have said it to be easy work.. or a hundred other words. They would all be adjectives describing what kind of work occured. And since I will grudgingly rake the yard eventually I will call it inevitable work..
