I Have A Question For You

Does this sound like self-pity? Lately I've been thinking everybody has a better life than me, especially when I look at Facebook. I've thought about deactivating Facebook for a while to keep me from looking at everybody's great lives. It's not just Facebook though, it seems everybody is leading so much better lives. It's not like me to feel sorry for myself. I suffer from depression so that may be the cause. I just keep trying to think about what I do have not what I don't.

People I haven't seen in a while tell me "Oh wow, from the look of Facebook you're really having a whale of a time" and then I think ... "If only my life was really the way it looks on Facebook". It's all smoke and mirrors Cloud ... You're not missing out at all. But if you think it will help you cope, do what you need to do to get by!
