What are you interested in that most people aren’t?

My family are mostly scientists and healthcare professionals and are also very practical, common sense people. Nothing wrong with that, but they never understood the kind of passion I used to have for the arts. It created something of a divide between us, as we had very little in common to talk about -- and they dismissed me as a dreamer and romanticist.
