I don't know if my state has any bad drivers or at least any who will 'fess up to it. Like you, I'm from the South. Good ol' boys in these parts drive their pickup trucks sippin' roadies of beer and white lightning. About time the good ol' boy empties the first six pack whose cans skip along the truck floor making aluminum music from the road bumps it gets time to park off the road to yank out the lizard and water the weeds. If it so happens that there's a sign post nearby it's also an opportunity to haul out whatever's on the gun rack hanging on the back cab window to get in a little target practice. Like their driving skills I ain't heard not a one ever say they was a bad shot.

So, Mr. Brownstone, I can't rightly say we have any bad drivers let alone bad shots where I'm from. But shoot, it does make me wonder.

Michigan is known for the Great Lakes, we've got four of them.

@tyrrmack, are you from Michigan? Most people here do not like Ohio.

Icanandwill: The area where I used to live in Missouri had a high rate of young people dying in auto accidents, they'd go to parties and drive home, and there were some really huge hills with cliffs in part of that county. I don't know if they are still doing it, no longer know anyone living there.

I live in Oklahoma, it's known for having bad bridges, Native American heritage, and producing a lot of country singers.

Nomar: It's happening a lot here in Oklahoma too, seems like more and more teachers are getting caught.

In Texas , right now we are famous for student teacher relationships . I'm not proud of it .

It sure does. You can't be from Michigan and not hate Ohio. Yep, the UP takes you back to simpler times. When I lived up there many years ago they didn't have the casinos yet so it really was the middle of nowhere. So true, I was one of the poor ones back then! We had no money but we sure found ways to keep entertained.
