Question Regarding Knee Pain

My line of work requires me to run a lot. I have to stay in shape. My problem is, my knees are getting worse. They hurt a lot. What can I do to make it stop?

I plan on seeing a doctor, but I'm not sure when that'll be. I'm wondering what I can do in the meantime.

Make sure you have great running shoes. Get your gait assessed. See your Physio to asses wether it’s cartilage or a patella tracking problem. If it’s tissue they can give you exercises to align the knee.

@JohnnyBBlue I’m not sure, I suspect not. Speaking from experience my knees were playing up and a combination of the above improved things.

@ButterRobot I definitely need new shoes. They look like running shoes, but I'm starting to think otherwise.

@JohnnyBBlue yeah, very important. If you have your gait assessed they might suggest orthotics which helps control the amount of roll the knee has to tolerate.

Ice. And wear knee sleeves while at work.

@MrBrownstone I've never thought about that.
Try an anti-inflammation eating regimen and take supplements like turmeric and/or black seed oil.

@AnonymouslyYours I actually have tumeric in my spice cabinet. I use it on my food. I might need to use more.
