Follow-Up Question

This is a follow-up to my previous question. Several people stated that a police officer should use lethal force if his/her life is threatened or in danger.

How would you define this situation? Where would you draw the line on what is and is not a life-in-danger scenario?

Most of the guidelines are all right, and these are stressful and chaotic situations. But there are some times where shit just seems to fail.

If someone is kneeling on the ground with their hands up, maybe don't shoot them. If someone is sleeping in their car, maybe don't shoot them. If a 12 year old is playing with a pellet gun, maybe don't pull up and shoot them.

@Kayana A gang of Karens would call for a suicide.
