Can you give me a hypothetical situation in which you believe a police officer should use lethal force?

Don't get defensive! I'm just wondering what people's thoughts are on this. 😄

Only when someone's life is in immediate danger and there is no other way of stopping what is about to happen.

Thanks for BA.
By the way, my answer is the law in my country. The police may not use lethal force for any other reason. That law used to be more lenient before Democracy arrived, then it was changed and for good reason.
I knew a cop who used the more lenient and earlier law to kill many people unnecessarily.

If the officers life is in jeopardy.

If an officer asks a person to put a lethal weapon down and they refuse.

Life, limbs, or eyesight of themselves or another and other means of de-escalation have failed or do not have time to be attempted.

If they have a weapon drawn and are using it

@SW-User Referring to one particular case, what if the suspect is attempting to use a taser on the officer?
SW-User
@J0NATHAN if they had no backup no other officers nearby to try and disarm the offender of the Taser then they wouldn't have much choice as the offender could then get the officers gun and use it against them.
SW-User
If their life is under immediate threat.
The same as anyone else
