Time is an observation of things occurring around us. Imagine if you lived in a different solar system, or even if you lived on a different planet in this solar system, time would be relevant to how fast your planet revolved around the sun. What would an hour represent there? What would a day be in those hours?
Time on Mars is not the same as time on Earth; clocks on Mars tick, on average, about 477 microseconds faster each day compared to Earth clocks. This difference is due to the effects of gravity and the planet's orbital characteristics as described by Einstein's theory of relativity.
If there were no planets, no solar systems, there would be no time. One theory is that once our Galaxy stops expanding, it will start going backwards until all solar systems collide once again (the big bang) and everything begins anew once more.

@MisterBander I recommend you get a watch.
@DavidBianchet2 A Mars watch, or an Earth watch?
DavidBianchet2 · 56-60, M
@MisterBander show me someone who wears a 'mars watch' and I'll show you a fool. I only take time from humans and their Earth watches.
@DavidBianchet2 To be honest, I am quite certain a Mars watch would not work properly here. It is totally planet related. Not sure what a Mars watch would do on Earth. Probably confuse the snot out of you and you would think it was broken.

@MisterBander lol. Thank you for your insult, fellow Earthling, (notice I didn't say "Marsling")
@DavidBianchet2 "Hello! There's a Borg on the bridge! He's not going to sit around and let you scan him while he's assimilating the ship!"
-Q (as a Borg).

@MisterBander whoah, dude I was just thinking about him, lol, You must be from DHS
@DavidBianchet2 Just don't mess with that pencil in the holder on your desk OK?
DavidBianchet2 · 56-60, M
@MisterBander I don't even own a pencil. but, whatever. It's not like a fucker from mars matters.
