What's a dead giveaway of how old you are without giving the actual number?

@Degbeme My grandparents and three other families were the last ones to have a party line. I still remember their ring...two longs and a short....and my grandma admonishing the neighbor, "this call is for me Gert...you can hang up now!"

@Degbeme i was too young to participate in these but my sister did lol she was too young too, really.

@FoxyGoddess Well like @goliathtree has meantioned you had to listen carefully to hear if someone was listening in. If they were on too long you`d pick up the phone and dial in their ear. 😬

@Degbeme My late father was a doctor so we always had our own line

@Degbeme I was thinking of the old party line where you call a number and it dumps you into a room with a bunch of other people who called in. It was a very 60's/70's thing.
