Go for a walk in the forest with my service dog Nina just like we usually do, and take in the air and the scenery a bit more than usual.

Smile a little more than usual at the wisecracks the burger van guy makes. Thank him a little more than usual for saving the bacon rinds for Nina.

Take the train to the kennels who trained my dog, and ask them if a girl who has my needs can jump the queue and inherit a best friend.

Play with all the Shepherds at the kennels, and introduce Nina to her new person.

Go quietly into the night.

Pack some snacks and party favors, head to the coast with my cat and family and friends who want to hangout.

Spend it with those closest to me
