He was shot.

@KentuckyFriedFloozy My thoughts and prayers don't go out to him or his family. One of the things Kirk was famous for saying.......""I can't stand the word empathy, actually," he continued. "I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage."

This was his common come back put down to any of the so called "radical libs" that said we should not stop feeding hungry kids here and abroad. We should not take healthcare away from millions. We should not do a lot of things MAGA advocated because it hurts people. Anything that any dem advocated for to help the disabled, poor, seniors...etc..........to Kirk was wasted effort and misguided empathy.

Now that misfortune hit him.............I have no more empathy for him and his family....than they and he had for others. What goes around comes around.

@MaBalzEsHari but in this country, whenever there is gun violence, you're supposed to say thoughts and prayers and if we all say it enough then that should be all it takes so that gun violence stops happening. Apparently thoughts and prayers is the best method above anything else that can be done. So I'm told, constantly. So I'm trying to do my part.

Thoughts and prayers........ Did it work yet????
