The Klan has always been like other extreme groups: interest in them grows with unrest, upheaval.
Of course, DJT invited White Supremacists (which includes the KKK) into public politics, so the current "Republican" party has the political DNA of the Klan, the truth deniers, the un-/undereducated, and the actual "let them eat cake" crowd who thinks the difference between being a trust fund kid and middle class is a simple matter of getting a job. lol
