Fun fact about bottled water

The expiration date isn't for the water, but for the bottle.
After a certain amount of time the plastic the bottle is made from will release toxic chemicals.
The water itself is fine to drink whenever.

Additionally, it takes a quarter of a litre (8.5 oz) of oil to produce a single one-litre water bottle. That’s a lot of natural resources for a throwaway item, and doesn’t even take account of the energy needed to transport, market and dispose of the bottle.
