It's a war.
A war started by russia when that terrorist state invaded the sovereign democracy of Ukraine eleven years ago. No pretence, no snivelling attempts at justification... just pure greed and land-grabbing.

That is factually wrong. The US overthrew the democratic government of Ukraine through a coup with the help of the Brits. That was not Russia.
And invasion is a word with an actual definition that means something.
