RIP Queen Elizabeth II

It is a very sad evening here in the United Kingdom following the announcement of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She died at the age of 96 and after being on the throne for 70 years! Her death marks the end of a long era and her passing will be mourned by millions around the world.

Prime Minister Lizz Truss gave a quite lovely tribute to a very beloved monarch.

Being a Canadian/American I am sad that a family lost its matriarch. I am not saddened that she is no longer monarch. She led to the end of the Canada I grew up in when she signed the 1982 Canadian constitution that was dreamed up by 11 old white guys who were only interested in expanding government control over Canadian's lives. Thus the government was able to lock up a Metis Grandmother for embarrassing the government. After all Canada's Charter of Rights are there to protect the government from the people not the people from the government. Betty is gone. Chucky is kink. I really don't care.
