RIP Queen Elizabeth II

My father came to the USA in 1945 on the first HSS Queen Elizabeth. He was 6 years older than Queen Elizabeth the second. Yet he had great respect for both world leaders.
He often referred to her in comparison to other world leaders in the sense of what a world leader should be like. Yet never mentioning her name. He didn't need to really.
When he meet princess Stéphanie of Monte Carlo, he actually berated her, citing that no queen of the British empire would walk around in a drunken stupor. And yes, she was drunk and demanding to use a restroom.
That was one reference that he made to this Queen Elizabeth II.
I am certain he would be in sorrow today, even at 102 as he would be, if he was still alive.
