The mountains have been fresh this morning 🌅
It is now approaching lunchtime here, and we are going to work together to make a lovely lunch meal as we used to do when we lived in Kyiv. It seems an eternity ago, and so much has happened in our lives and in the life of our country.
Ukraine 🇺🇦 has been supported by our European friends and neighbours in our resistance of the behemoth that is modern Putinesque Russia 🇷🇺. We both have Russian friends who support us in many secret ways but we have had other friends killed on the front line from both communities.
Putin needed this war (he came to it late ⏰ in the eyes of some Russians in the captured territories) in order to distract the population of Russia from his robbing of the state (much as Trump is mirroring now in America, with the Epstein files too), and to squeeze the people of their tax roubles to pocket them before he has to face the inevitable consequences of age and time. As if money can preserve your life if you’re busy filling the hospitals with maimed soldiers!
Peace will come soon, but the bloodbath will be continued until Putin is no more.
