I didn’t know this, but it fits in with my understanding of the kind of person she was. I’ve always admired Ms.Parker, and this is just one more reason. 🥹

Because of her political views, she was eventually blacklisted. So her estate was not large, but she gave it to what she saw as a worthy cause.
