King Charles III, the new monarch

I all was think it such a nice touch for wales
But only in name as in past it was considered control

@1234cardiff You didn't lose the Prince of Wales you just have a different one. Now the Prince of Wales is William and his wife Kate is Princess of Wales. The next in line to the British throne is Prince of Wales according to a tradition going back to the 14th century.

@Stereoguy There is probably a certain amount of wanting to have it some distance away from the accession.
The new monarch has lost a parent after all.
We had several of them between 1901 and 1952....I did point out that my parents had seen four monarchs before they left their teens.
But this is a new experience for most people.
