I Love Joel Osteen

I don't wonder that not one person likes this group!
Not only did Joel Osteen not open the doors to his fancy church in an extreme time of need for evacuees when Houston was thrashed by hurricane Harvey he then went on to make a bunch of pathetic excuses and lies why he didn't
- they weren't asked
- they knew how bad it was going to be cause they were in communication with authorities and they were only intended to be a distribution center.
While he was preparing for that he was trolling twitter blocking anyone who questioned or asking him to open his doors, why his security company sent people away, then his supporters come defending him with fake photos of the flooded church...it was minimal on the lower level parking of his megastructure!
The guy couldn't get any lower right? Wrong! After a social media backlash the media picked it up and he got called out and eventually opened the doors, he held a service after that with evacuees and sent a collection plate around!!! Like WTAF!
This guy is a storm in himself!
This week anyone who has watched the live coverage will see is that true people, true Texans do not wait for instruction from authorities to help people they just do it, that is instinct, that is humananity.
In my opinion Joel Osteen doesn't represent anyone but a greedy individual.
He couldn't open the doors to his mega church because he was sitting back counting the millions of tax-free money that he made by selling an invisible cure at 10% of people's income that they only will received after they die. If they start taxing churches we would have enough money to feed, clothe and house the homeless.

@3yin3 It is disgusting. It's all a money scheme. I am a believer but not in organized religion. The things they are telling us is not exactly the truth.

I LIVE in Houston and he didn't lift a finger. The rest of Houston stood proud and even those without a home were out helping others that were trapped in flooded neighborhoods!!!
The teachings of Jesus are quite beautiful. It's incomprehensible to me why many Christians, like Mr. Osteen, live against them and seem to have no clue they're doing so.
