If I gave you a jar of ozone without you opening it in a few hours it would all be gone. It turns back into O2. The only reason there is O3 in the stratosphere is because of sunlight. So when the sun doesn't shine as happens over the poles the O3 becomes O2. When the sun returns a few months later the O2 turns back to O3. Man made pollution has nothing to do with this natural occurrence.
