Wrong, do some research. The "KжK" has always associated itself with the conservative party, which ever party that may have been in the past. After the signing of The Civil Rights act of 1965, they moved their support solely to the Republican party and have remained ever since.
The KжK only supports Conservative political parties, and that would be the Republican party in today's world.

@Musicman Second, past Klan presence also helps to explain the most significant shift in regional voting patterns since 1950: the South's pronounced move toward the Republican Party. While support for Republican candidates has grown region-wide since the 1960s, we find that such shifts have been significantly more pronounced in areas in which the KKK was active. The Klan helped to produce this effect by encouraging voters to move away from Democratic candidates who were increasingly supporting civil rights reforms, and also by pushing racial conflicts to the fore and more clearly aligning those issues with party platforms. As a result, by the 1990s, racially-conservative attitudes among southerners strongly correlates with Republican support, but only in areas where the KKK had been active. Source PBS
I looked up many other sources as well, it was easy.

I believe there is a false understanding that the KKK is associated with the Democratic Party, because Lincoln was a Republican and the Confederate States were not. Unfortunately the Southern States that succeeded were the "Conservatives" of their time, and it would be President Lincoln who would be considered the "Radical Liberal" of his time, because the idea of freeing Black Slaves who weren't even considered human beings, but were thought of more like cattle to be owned and traded, was an unfathomable idea by those Confederate State's leaders.
The inability to recognize, and understand, that political parties can change their base of supporters, or change which issues that party supports and opposes can change.
There is nothing in politics that says a parties alignment with certain issues can not change, nor that a certain party that supported certain views can not "flip" and support the views that it once opposed.
So while Lincoln and the Republican Party sought to, and succeeded, in freeing the Black Slaves, that does not mean that the Republican Party of the mid 19th century was the same as the Republican Party today.

@calicuz They are definitely tied to the Republicans. Democrats aren’t racist, they are not tied to white nationalists.

Exactly, and I can't figure out why the Right Wing in this country keeps avoiding the obvious.

The Hillary endorsement was a hoax. And now that I think about it, watching your video, I no longer support voter ID. There should be no requirements to vote, other than that a person is a born or naturalized US citizen.

@Kwek00 and trump absolutely denied David Duke and said he didn’t want anything to do with him. Along with disavowing any of the groups that have anything like kkk, white nationalists or white supremacy in their history
