Have Been Watching the Hunter Biden Gun charges trial? How many years in prison should Hunter get?

25 years maximum.
When does his felony tax evasion trial start?

I haven't been paying it much attention.

Do you think Hunter's Laptop should get 25 years? Or would you rather see it impeached?
SamInAZ · 46-50, M
@windinhishair His laptop? No. Hunter? Yes.

@SamInAZ We will see what the jury decides as to guilt and innocence, and if guilty, how the judge decides to sentence him. See how this works?
Doesn't matter. "The Big Guy" will pardon him.

@NoThanksLeon Liar. Your President Joe Biden has already said he won't pardon him.

Ah, the sweet feeling of moral superiority that MAGAts will never experience.
@daisymay Who said anything about President Joe Biden? Unless you are admitting that President Joe Biden IS "the big guy" in all those illegal financial transactions!

I think they should use maximum leverage to see if he will flip on his family. That would be pretty epic.
@SumKindaMunster This is all for show. Everyone knows "The Big Guy" will pardon him.

He needs to do prison time.
windinhishair · 70-79, M
@SamInAZ It was. Three or four people wanted to know how long I had been a medical examiner. I had to disappoint them.

@windinhishair the ones I do are all online. I've been on a couple juries IRL though & I also was my own lawyer at 18 when I was falsely accused of minor in possession of alcohol. Surprisingly, with no previous legal training, I was able to get a hung jury & the case dropped. I think the only reason I got a hung jury instead of innocent is because I admitted that I did drink sometimes, but that particular night I was not drinking or in possession of alcohol. Chose to be my own lawyer because my public defender smelled like he was drunk when I first met with him.

@SamInAZ I have a good friend who became a lawyer and I agreed to be an expert witness for his law school mock trial. He was the prosecuting attorney, but I didn't cut him any slack. I knew what he wanted me to say but I made him work for it, to the point where he was admonished by the judge for leading the witness. It was all in good fun.

It sounds like you had a poor public defender. But you were able to introduce reasonable doubt into at least one juror's mind.
