I support Biden and I like many of his policy actions. If he wins the in the primary I will certainly vote for him. However, I am concerned about his age. He is over 80. I think he should announce he will not run in 2024 due to health reasons. The Democrats have too many very elderly leaders like Pelosi and Feinstein. They should gracefully resign. The Dems need to let their younger candidates move up into the front-runner positions.

@badminton Couldn't agree more; I don't think Biden should have run again, but to be responsible, would have needed to announce that six months ago. He could have a serious decline and throw it to Trump. I've never loved Biden, but not many people have.

@Bumbles Biden has been hampered by the Republicans in Congress who automatically vote against anything he supports. Biden's term does have some real accomplishments to boost of:
1. He ended the pitiful, hugely expensive 20-year Afghanistan debacle,
2. He passed the DISCLOSE Act, which requires public disclosure of campaign spending and combats "dark money" in U.S. elections. This is a major step in urgently needed campaign finance reform.
3. Gun control laws. President Biden has taken on the gun industry and their paid-off Congress members. He has passionately spoken about the horrendous level of gun deaths in America. As the Republicans block every attempt to pass sane gun control legislation, Biden used executive orders to pass some much-needed regulations, such as on ghost guns.
4. Investment in the nation's neglected infrastructure.
5. Action on climate change.

@badminton Absolutely, even Dems don't give him enough credit for these things. I think his juking the economy with huge spending was an unforced error and most economists say some of the inflation was caused as a result. I think Biden underestimated how inflation would drag down so much of his presidency.
@badminton
1. BinBiden left hundreds of millions of dollars worth of armament behind in Afghanistan, full auto weapons that are now seen all through mideast black markets.
2. Then he should come clean on Burisma and China.
3.
4. Has sent MORE money to Ukraine than our own infrastructure.
5. By doing, what?

@badminton And the dems vote automatically against every Republican initiative, so what's new?

@Bumbles Trump is 77. Biden is 80. They are not that far apart in age.
