@HollyW Actually not all Republicans think that Republicans are decent people. There are now two distict Republican Franchises. (Actually, three of you count the old school free enterprise, economic rationalist Republicans.. But they are almost extinct now) The right wing tea Party Republicans like Liz Cheney and the Ultra right wing Fascist MAGA people who Trump bought into being and are now starting to look for another leader, like maybe DeSantis. This group no longer even pretend to respect democracy, or etics of any kind. They are closer to the divine right of kings and dont care who knows it. In reality, the gap is not that wide at its core. But the window dressing makes them look very different.😷

There have even been instances where mobs have attacked the Right when they show up to speak at a function. So, there are many on the Left that are a threat to democracy too.

It isnt the left that tried to defraud an election through the courts, then through the count, then through an insurrection. In fact the right are extremely fortunate the left did not adopt their tactics or a whole bunch of people would simply have disappeared after the events of January 6 and no one would be talking about Roger Stone, Steve Bannon or a bunch of others. Trump and Giuliani would be on a show trial. And there is every chance there would be a few different faces on the Supreme court.. And you know what? I think most Americans would stand for that.. When you start looking at who has actually been found to have committed election fraud, its not the left. They may be a rabble. But they respect the process.😷

How even on Inauguration Day, their loyal ANTIFA staged Riots and vandalized property in DC and other Places. How Pelosi, Waters, and many others kept on protesting about anything related to the Trump Administration in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. How they used the FBI to investigate Trump for 'Russian' Collusion in order to remove him from Office. All of that is an illegal insurrection too. Or was it 100% Legal in your eyes since your side was doing it.

@dakotaviper A fair question.. Trump raised ire of a lot of people with his divisive talk.. And a lot of underpaid, minority types got angry and started protesting and asusual that led to looting and burning and everyone caught should be charged and sentenced.. But they werent organised, given a time, place and date, or instructions in person by someone who was "going to be there with you" at the seat of power, to then show up and scream for the Vice President to be hanged. THATS the difference. Its not about the rabble, lesft or right. Its about the (poorly) organised intent..😷
