@Roundandroundwego Do you have an example of something he's done over his nearly 50 year career that is in opposition to Democracy? Just need one.

@Ynotisay I'm against the incarceration caused by the crime bill, and that was definitely anti democracy. Since it wasn't on January six, I'm sure it can't count.
I'm sure you are knowledgeable and intelligent. You should assume I got the same news as you. You don't have to be an idiot to think Biden is conservative.

@Roundandroundwego Couple of things. Yeah, and nothing personal, but you do sort of need to be an idiot to think Biden is a conservative. I have a feeling, because you're not an idiot, that you're using hyperbole. But it's night and day.
And the crime bill? From 25 years ago? In a very different society than today? That had nothing to do with Democracy. It was a law that met all the criterion. Passed almost unanimously in the Senate. And interestingly, had more black support than white support.
I was looking for an example of Biden being anti-Democracy. And there isn't one. What he said in this speech he meant. He's got 50 years of walking the walk. Don't like his policies? OK. But that doesn't mean he's ever stood against this nation.

@Ynotisay Biden does seem far to the right of the most popular positions on healthcare, infrastructure, taxing the rich and the war in Europe. But you have to be a conservative and a Democrat to like Biden.
