@MartinTheFirst milk is almost $5 a gallon, its absurd. A gallon of milk, a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs should not cost $5, but its gonna be a $20 bill anywhere you go.

Your 7.00 loaf of bread is the same price as it was last year.
We have artisan bread makers here too.

@MartinTheFirst what claims, martin? Eggs are 4.00 a dozen where i get them. Artisan bread is indeed 7.00 or higher. But...the bread the we make our pp&j's with is nowhere near to that.
I can still get two(2) very nice loaves of bread at costco for around 6.00.
The price of fuel is indeed a driving factor in price increases. As well as labour shortages and plain greed.
What about this do you disagree with?

@Carla That this dude is saying that just because he buys some overly expensive bread that this is anyone elses but his own fault. Sure the prices of everything rise, it doesn't rise the way he intends for it to sound though. ridiculous.

@MartinTheFirst you are correct in that organic, natural and artisan made food is farrrrrr more expensive. No doubt.
There are affordable ways to get past that though...like home cooking.
