Biden looked a lot like Hitler

In the few clips I have seen of the Biden speech he looked and sounded a lot like Hitler. By all accounts it would appear that Biden is trying to start a civil war. The only real question is if democrats of character will demand Biden step down immediately. A great evil is in the world. Biden is one of its spokesmen. Will the people do something or are they all accomplices?

[Yawns at the projection]

Seriously, though, I'm glad he kept the fighting language out and condemned political violence.

@MistyCee So you didn't watch the speech or are you just so historically illiterate you don't get the connection.
@MistyCee [yawns back]
If Trump pulled a stunt like this, you know the media would be in full shit storm mode. I'm enjoying this trainwreck.

@hippyjoe1955 I did and I got the connection although with a little work I could probably pick up a dozen Trump speeches which were more historically Hitler-like.

But, like I said, I got it, and I'm glad that that he only went so far and left the door open to working non-violent non-MAGA Republicans.

Those pics are pretty good, btw.

@MistyCee yeah, it's a big ol socialist shit sandwich and I am enjoying you trying to smile as you take your bite. Chew carefully. 😂
@TexChik Honestly, I think even the fascist bit fits better than the socialist one for this speech.

Isn't that like saying he's only willing to work with Republicans that agree with him?

Everyone would love to see all sides working for the "best fit" for all Americans, but that's pure political rhetoric that never really happens.

What they call "bi-partisan" is really 'All Democrats + John McCain', or 'All Democrats + Lisa Murkowski'. What really happens is that one party completely locks out the other party except for one or two crossovers.

@BizSuitStacy 'If Trump pulled a stunt like this'

Aug 17 2020 , Mankato Minnesota.

"Biden wants to replace American freedom with left-wing fascism. Fascists , they are fascists."
@BizSuitStacy Trump kind of did, all the time. Which, IMO, is why its more significant that Biden is doing it this time. Its a risky move for Biden, in part because it is so very Trump-like.
@MistyCee Wasn't it great having Biden step out there like Moloch, with the blood red background, the blatant imagery of the 3rd Reich, and Hitler. Oh, but Trump...

Not even close. Pour youself some more coffee, clear your head and spare yourself future embarrassment. This was a disaster for Biden and the democrats..

In campaign speeches, voters want to hear about issues important to them. Check out Biden's mentions below. LOL.

China: 0
Crime: 0
Inflation: 0
Fentanyl: 0
The Border: 0
Charlottesville: 1
January 6th: 2
Insurrection: 3
Donald Trump: 3
Extremism: 7
Violence: 10
MAGA: 13
Republicans: 16
@BizSuitStacy We'll see how it plays out in terms of a disaster for Democrats. You may be right, but I think its too early to tell within 24 hours.

@MistyCee is that whataboutism coming out of your mouth? Feeling hypocritical this morning? Scrambling to blame trump like a good socialist should? Please I defy you to produce an actual Trump speech that was anywhere in the category of the threat laid down by the socialists last night. We all know biden is just a plug and play tool...who's really saying all that to us?
@MistyCee It is early. And many people are stunned and outraged right now trying to process this. But the 30,000 foot view looks clear to me. This was an epic blunder that will live on in infamy. #PedoHitler

He didn't mention the Russia collusion lie that was used to politically weaponize the FBI and DOJ. That was as significant as the Bay of Tonkin Resolution lie that was used to justify the Vietnam war. There are consequences to lies that are substituted for facts in Washington.
@Heartlander Yeah, I'm glad he didn't mention Russia in that speech, along with Trump's "total exxoneration" or a bunch of other things.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee Trump said something Hitleresque? Please point one of them out.
@hippyjoe1955 Here's one piece of low hanging fruit on Mexicans, and I've even included Trump's twist to make it sound less Hitleresque:
“They are not our friend, believe me,” he said, before disparaging Mexican immigrants: “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
There's more, I'm sure, and I think someone just pointed out his Mankato quote on fascism on this post, but the bottom line, for me, at least, is that while I've been whining for years about Trump's big lie/Goebbels crap, Biden did seem to have gotten down in the dirt with him last night more so than he's ever done before, and I can legitimately see how his comments can be called divisive.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee So you are not aware of the massive amounts of drugs coming across the southern border? You are not aware of the sexual abuse taking place by the human smugglers through out Mexico? What world do you live in that you can be that ignorant. I live in Canada an know more about the problems in Mexico than you do. Amazing.
@MistyCee Two Texas democrat judges of Hispanic heritage just flipped and became republicans because of Biden's border policies.

@hippyjoe1955 socialists don't rat out their own, no matter how egregious the crime
@hippyjoe1955 What do you want from me?

To admit that Hitler did good stuff like building the Autobahn, which Ike recognized?

I'm looking forward to the day when I can give Trump credit for something like that. I wish, honestly, I could see him historically at this point.

The Nationalism/Xenophobia/border stuff is just a low hanging fruit similarity between the two men, tbh, and I'm not saying that either one is all bad in response to those issues.

Hitler seemed to have been way more effective, of course, in that regard, and and but it's a common characteristic, much like Trump's why don't we have more Scandinavian/Nordic/Aryan immigrants comments.

My own personal issue is much more with the hero worship/lying/disrespect for others and willingness to scapegoat for power as opposed to other stuff, and, if, we really get down to it, I think the biggest difference between Hitler and Trump boils down to inherited wealth and how they got started with their ascent to power.

I think they're really similar, but at the end of the day, really different, because of different origins and maybe motivations.

As to the latter, neither man has really opened up under oath.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee So you have no idea what is going on. No wonder you vote demoncrap.
TexChik · F
@MistyCee pffft. You must be high or completely deluded. You should see the BS you are spewing. Its pretty pathetic. What aren't you going to blame Trump for? I am surprised someone that is educated would be so easily brainwashed and filled with hate. Guess that's why you are a socialist...you have all the qualifications. 🙄
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@TexChik she is educated enough to believe what she has been told but not educated enough to question what she has been told.
