President Biden Calls for a Three-Month suspension of the federal gasoline tax

Federal Gas Tax Holiday Right now, the federal government charges an 18 cent tax per gallon of gasoline and a 24 cent tax per gallon of diesel.

That's gonna save me about $25 per month.

Now, when Trump was president and gas was selling around $2 bucks per gallon, that would work out to $417 dollar savings. And, the savings were real and kept on going!

OK, a tax break is better than a sharp stick in the eye, but the Biden has already jabbed us with the sharp stick when he decided to shut down energy.

fuel tax is the primary source of funding for road infrastructure/maintenance; many of which are already in poor condition...

so, again, democrats pull funding from other sources in an attempt to save face; so they can complain about it later and drive the national debt up even further...

give it a few months, they'll try to ram another costly infrastructure bill through congress that'll cost us more in taxes in the long run...
