With Gas Prices at All-Time Highs, Biden Decides to Cancel Oil and Gas Lease Sales in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico

As gas prices reach new heights, Biden Administration cancels lease sales in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. This senile old man and those who handle him hate America. Every policy they make hurts Americans.

Only a few days ago it was reported that gas prices in the US had reached another all-time high. This impacts the pocketbooks of average Americans across the country. Americans are already facing all-time highs in inflation by some measurements and now this.

An administration that cared for Americans and put their needs first would address this issue. This economy-killing policy of high gas prices and inflation is destroying businesses and personal finances across the country. The Biden Administration doesn’t seem to care. They continue to hurt Americans and help China, Russia, Venezuela, and Iran with their energy policies alone.

The Hill reported this morning that Biden is canceling oil and gas lease sales despite gas prices going through the roof.

The Interior Department will not move forward with planned oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska’s Cook Inlet, it announced Wednesday night.

A spokesperson for the department confirmed the Cook Inlet lease sale would not proceed due to insufficient industry interest. Meanwhile, the planned sale of two leases, lease 259 and lease 261, in the Gulf of Mexico will not proceed due to contradictory court rulings on the leases, the spokesperson confirmed.

Shortly after taking office, President Biden signed an executive order freezing all new oil and gas leasing on federal lands. Last summer, Judge James Cain, a Trump appointee, struck down the ruling, prompting the Biden administration to appeal.

The Biden Administration is not acting like a group of people who care about the United States. This administration acts more like a group of people that want to destroy this country. This is why it looks like Obama is really running the show.

S0, how does this help America?
Biden is such an ass hat

Well if you want to talk about gasoline prices, have big oil to build some refineries or open the ones that just recently close.
It’s a little known fact at this present time there’s a backlog of crude oil waiting to be processed.
But the other hand I can’t blame big oil for trying to make up for lost sales in 20/21. Oil was selling for less 40 dollars back then and they took a beating and now it’s averaging about 106 dollars a barrel. It a golden opportunity to make up for pass losses.
Nothing personal it’s just business as usual.

@Briggett I call bullshit. People did whatever it took “to save just one life”. Can’t complain now.

@Briggett Hate to tell you this, but some of the largest gasoline refineries in the world are here in the USA and with one of the biggest on the planet being on the southern shore of Lake Michigan.
@dakotaviper in the twenty how many refineries has big oil built? I’m looking for answer here
Their is to control supply and demand!
It’s the same old story from every president from Nixon to old Joe.
How many times do we have to keep seeing the same old story now forty plus years, is enough. See this what happens when no one is held accountable!!
The four hundred and forty- six of them need’s to fired!!
It’s a real shame this lesson has to be retaught over and over again to new audiences.

@Briggett The one that was built on the shore of Lake Michigan was built by Standard Oil Company, which later became Amoco. John D. Rockefeller was the founder. Now called the BP Whiting Refinery.
There are several in and around the Houston-Galveston Texas area built by Marathon, Texaco, ExxonMobil, and Chevron.
The one in Ashland Kentucky was built by Ashland Oil Company.
Marathon has one in California.
Chevron and CITGO also have refineries in Louisiana and Mississippi.
And then there are smaller scale refineries located in almost every State of the USA.
@dakotaviper No new refineries in the last twenty nine years!!!

@Briggett That's because of EPA Regulations more than Investment in Infrastructure.
