Minimum wage to $15 an hour?
Immigration reform?
I get nervous about the Rising cost of living!
I believe in people sustaining for themselves and families YET at what cost?
Anyone's thoughts and perception on this?
I want to collect Social security in a couple or better years it better happen....

@SW-User min wage hike will only increase inflation, after a few months that $15 will be worth no more than the $7.50 was before, and you're right back in the same boat.

It really hurts people with savings, 401k's, etc. as they lose value as well

@wildbill83 Not if you tie it to inflation and increase it every year instead of doing it once every decade. And our money is steadily losing value regardless of the increase not happening.

The solution is to decrease spending/overhead (costs), not hand out more money...

@wildbill83 I worked in State Government for over 23 years..never got a raise since 2008....I was losing money therefore retired early.
Everything is a sad state of affairs.
